West Ham United v Manchester United Betting Preview
If you had asked Manuel Pellegrini and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a couple of weeks ago for an area where they wanted their respective teams to improve, they’d have both put the defence towards the top of the list.

West Ham went into the international break on the back of a commanding 2-0 win over Norwich and followed that up with another clean sheet on Monday night away to Aston Villa.
Manchester United also made it two clean sheets in a row when they edged past Astana in the Europa League. United’s performances against Leicester and Astana weren’t exactly breathtaking from an attacking perspective, but they dug in to get the job done and will need to show more of that grit at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Frenchman has hit the ground running in English football which is very difficult to do. That speaks both to his abilities as a footballer and his intelligence as he adapts to a new culture and new way of playing.
Haller is exactly the sort of striker that Pellegrini wanted at West Ham. He’s big and powerful enough to play the target man role when required but technically sound enough to play a part in West Ham’s link-up play.
Most importantly, Haller also has a keen eye for goal. He can use that once again on Sunday to open the scoring at 7/1 with Sportingbet.
